De "Band of Brothers - 2002 Tour" brengt een bezoek aan het Bois Jacques. De foto met Bill tussen "Doc" Hans (L) en "Jumping" Johnny (R) is gemaakt op de exacte plaats waar de schutterputten van Easy Company zich bevonden. Bill en Babe wezen de putten aan waar zij tijdens die vreselijke winter van 44/45 in hebben gelegen.

"Band of Brothers - 2002 Tour" visits the Bois Jacques in the Ardennes. This picture with Bill between "Doc" Hans (L) and "Jumping" Johnny (R) was made right at the spot and in between several foxholes. Both Bill and Babe pointed out the foxhole where they were dug in during the awfull winter of 44/45.

Altijd bereid om handtekeningen te zetten ... De Jeep is een Ford GPW uit 1943 met een Browning mitrailleur type 1919A4 kaliber .30.

Nog een foto met Bill en daarna op naar de touringcar op het parkeerterrein. Bill werd in de jeep terug gebracht om schuttersputten, stronken en takken heen. Bill vond het geweldig en schreeuwde van plezier.

Another picture with Bill and then off to the bus at the parking lot. Brought Bill back in the jeep evading foxholes, trunks and branches. Bill liked this fast ride through the wood very much, shouting with joy.

Bill en Alex in Margraten. Ons werd verzocht om Bill en Babe in de jeeps op deze heilige grond te brengen zodat zij de trappen niet hoefden te beklimmen. Normaal gesproken is het kerkhof verboden voor voertuigen.

This picture with Bill and Alex was made at the Margraten Cemetery. We were asked to bring Bill and Babe with our jeeps on this holy ground so they didn't have to climb the stairs. Normally the cemetery is off limits for vehicles.
