Deze foto werd op D-Day +1 genomen vóór het oorlogsmonument op het kerkplein in Ste. Marie du Mont. Enkele para's van 506th Easy company die ver van hun dropzone terecht waren gekomen verzamelden zich hier. Zij hadden deelgenomen aan de gevechten bij de Marmion farm en werden gefotografeerd met de camera van Forrest Guth die hij - tegen de regels in - had meegesmokkeld. De soldaten geheel rechts en op de achtergrond zijn van de 4th Infantry Division die op Utah Beach zijn geland.

Here a few paratroopers of 506th Easy company, who were dropped far away from their dropzone, arrived after the fights at the Marmion farm and were photographed with Forrest Guth's camera.
